beta 2 copying files through dos

Beta 2 and copying files through "DOS"

Has anyone had trouble copying files from A to B in the command prompt?
I am trying to transfer some movies between HD"s but explorer crashes whenever it tries to thumbnail multiple movies in a folder, thus I need to do it through dos...
The file permissions through attrib say "A" only, and through the GUI everyone has full control. THe problem is I can't use copy or xcopy because it states that access is denied. Qute annoying!
any suggestions ?
thanks alot

perhaps....
right-click on the command prompt icon and select 'run as administrator' ?

thanks for that suggestion,
it
appears that "everyone" for that drive was set to no priviledges at all...
I just added full control and now it is fine :)
Im a little embarrassed :) I assume somethings would just be working
